Q1: Why cannot some web pages on Gov.mo be displayed correctly?

Answer: It appears like using web browser which doesn't support i-frame, so please choose the web browser that supports i-frame

 

Q2: Why do mess codes display on some web pages?

Answer: Gov.mo uses Unicode UTF-8 as the default coding, mess coded pages may display if the Unicode is not set as the default coding, or “Auto-detect” is not set in the browser. Use any of the following:

- Internet Explorer 5.x or above users can select “View / Encoding / Unicode (UTF-8)" from the function menu.

- Firefox users can select “View / Character Encoding / Unicode (UTF-8)” from the function menu.

- Opera users can select “View / Encoding / Unicode->UTF 8” from the function menu.

 

Q3: How to prevent from reaching false site?

Answer:

- Make sure to visit Gov.mo by entering gov.mo or www.gov.mo.

- Gov.mo does not ask for sensitive personal information from users via e-mail, such as personal data, login names, passwords, bank a/c number, and credit card information, etc.

- Gov.mo does not send hyperlinks via e-mails to users to login to the access controlled web pages with password.

- Never follow links from unsolicited e-mails to login to the access controlled web pages with password.

- Make sure that you always download the latest virus signature for the anti-virus software and install security software.
