The Mandarin’s House (Zheng Guanying’s family home) - occupying some 4,000m2 and open to the public since 2010 - sits majestically in the UNESCO World Heritage Historic Centre of Macao. Featuring the characteristics of traditional Guangdong residences, it boasts a fusion of Western architectural influences, making it a unique product of East-West interchange. Zheng Guanying, a late Qing celebrity, completed his acclaimed masterpiece Shengshi Weiyan (Words of Warning in Times of Prosperity) in this mansion, the largest in Macao.
